iphone 4s merupakan iPhone generasi terbaru yang baru saja di luncurkan oleh pihak apple, dimana sebelumnya bayak yang mengatakan bahwa iphone generasi baru akan di sebut dengan IPhone 5, akan tetapi dalam peluncuranya tanggal 4 oktober kemarin ternyata iphone generasai baru itu di beri nama iPhone 4S dimana harga iPhone 4S ini lebih murah dari iPhone 4 kemarin, iPhone 4S adalah produk pertama yang rilis Apple di bawah CEO Tim Cook yang menggantikan Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs tak muncul sama sekali di panggung. Tim Cook membuka acara dengan memamerkan pencapaian Apple sebelum iPhone 4S diumumkan di puncak acara.
Praktis tidak ada perubahan spesfikasi iPhone 4S dari segi tampilan, dimana generasi terbaru ini masi sama saja dengan iPhone 4 yang sudah beredar selama hampir setahun dengan ukuran layar dan ketebalan yang sama. Akan tetapi fitur-fiturnya baru, lebih baik dari generasi sebelumya. iPhone 4S memakai prosesor dan kartu grafis dual core dengan chip Apple A5 seperti yang digunakan iPad 2 hal ini bisa memberikan kinerja dua kali lipat lebih cepat serta akses multimedia tujuh kali lebih kencang.
